So you're trying to claim some debate victory over a technicality? 57% of our electricity isn't an issue? Please consider reality in your responses. It ain't like killing off coal is no longer a problem.

    Eyelids,

You need to listen it again, Obama wants to shutdown all coal fured powerplants. The mechanism by which thia will be done is through carbon taxes. However, there are many large scale manufacturing operations that have there own power plants that emit carbon.

This will cause massive movement of manufactiring out of the US. My company is not taking on any projects that do not pay back by February 1. Kind of makes you think. Guess I may have a lot of time to enjoy the pristine environment.

What his mulattoness doesn't mention here, is that the coal industry will not go bankrupt. They, like all other industries, will pass those bankrupting tariffs and costs on to their customers.

How does a $1500 a month electric bill sound, eyeballs?

On the plus side, you won't be able to afford to run your computer.
