- Australian researchers separated dogs from their owners for new study
- They then reunited them and monitored their heart rates for patterns
- Both dog and human heart rates fell, and then began to mirror each other
- Researchers were stunned by how much two heart beats came together

Of course it does, dogs breathing patterns also adjust to mimic ours. They are our little fur babies.

They can hear our hearts beating through a wall or two... I'm not sure how loud they hear their own heartbeats. Put a Dixie-Cup on a pregnant dog's belly, and you can hear puppy-heartbeats as non-synchronized as it gets.
