***Your Gay and Lesbian Democrats Suffered Greatly Last Night , at the hands of Dems***

Prop 8 in CA got a YES... For this to happen, Obama voters had to help, and boy did they.

The right wing took gay marriage to the ballot for the 3rd time, and won finally. (why did it pass this time)

Florida passed a ban on Gay marriage, again at the hands of the democrats, Obama took the state, but almost 10% of them, as they were voting for Obama tossed a few gay people under the bus.

Arkansas passed a ban, but give that is almost not a state, I was not shocked.

I really just brought this over to say neener, neener, neener but massive infighting erupts in the thread and it's worth a read. (for a laugh)

Ballot Measures (as reported on CNN)

Arizona Proposition 102: Ban on Gay Marriage (99% reporting)
    Yes 56%
    No 44%

Arkansas Initiative 1: Ban on Gay Couples Adopting Children (96% reporting)
    Yes 57%
    No 43%

California Proposition 8: Ban on Gay Marriage (92% reporting)
    Yes 52%
    No 48%

Florida Amendment 2: Ban on Gay Marriage (99% reporting)
    Yes 62%
    No 38%

The Arkansas amendment wasn't targeted at gays but Unmarried couples. CNN does have to put their spin to it though.
The 21st century. The age of Smart phones and Stupid people.

It is said that branches draw their life from the vine. Each is separate yet all are one as they share one life giving stem . The Bible tells us we are called to a similar union in life, our lives with the life of God. We are incorporated into him; made sharers in his life. Apart from this union we can do nothing.

    Grabbed this from Wikipedia:

However, some California "county clerks say that because it usually takes a month for election results to be certified as final, they do not plan to stop issuing marriage licenses to same-sex couples until they are directed by the state health department, which oversees marriage records."

Sometimes it's just when someone wears something that "clashes". Boy does that get their feather boas in a knot!

Don't everyone celebrate just yet. I have the feeling, at least here in California, that the people that wanted Prop 8 to fail will be taking it to the courts. And if the past is any indication, Prop 8 will be declared unconstitutional by the state supreme court. It's happened before with the supremes here in Cali overturning the will of the people.

    It's already started.

Although, legally speaking, the pro-sodomy folks will have a much tougher time getting their argument ratified by the California Supreme Court.

Guess California will just have to pass another ballot initiative in another 4-8 years.
