    1/4 cup bleached all-purpose flour
    1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 1/2 cups chopped yellow onions
1/2 cup seeded and chopped green bell peppers
    4 bay leaves
    2 1/2 teaspoons salt
    1/2 teaspoon cayenne
    1/2 cup brandy
    8 cups water
    3 TB Old Bay seasoning
    Corn from about 3 ears
    3 potatoes, peeled and diced
    1 lb crab meat
1/2 cup chopped green onions, green parts only
1/4 cup finely chopped fresh parsley leaves
    1/4 cup heavy cream

Put all the stuff in the soup pot, up until the brandy. Once the vegetables are soft, add the brandy and the rest of the stuff, except for the cream Cook about 2 12 hours. Add cream at the end.

    Enjoy

Sounds Good. How did it go over at the hunting cabin and what did you serve with it?

I didn't make it yet...will make it tomorrow night. I think I'm going with the bread and some cheese and salami. Maybe a quiche.
