The President says he is (probably) writing a book

IMO, probably the most important post-presidency autobiography since Grant's Memoirs.

I cannot wait. Are you going to read it?

No way, I can't forgive him for the 'open borders' thing. Worst president we ever had. Made a flub and said 'nucular' once, and we had to suffer him trying to cover by saying it that way from then on. (I heard he pronounces it correctly in private). I'd say good riddance, but I have the feeling that's what the fish said as it jumped from the frying pan into the fire..

Not even close to the worst President we've had. Plenty of Presidents were worse, and quite frankly Bush performed nothing less than a miracle to keep us out of a depression after 9-11 and Katrina. Iraq will be judged a needed turning point in the fight against Islamic radicals - IF the incoming President doesn't screw it up.

Was he the best President we have had??? Not by a long shot, but all in all, people have smeared him unfairly.

Nucular may not be the correct pronunciation but it is VERY common and regional dialects are no reason to make fun of or make judgments as to the intelligence of an individual.

It just shows you how shallow the person doing the criticism is.
I long for the days when our President actually liked our country.

Unlikely. I doubt he has anything to say we don't already know. I hope he enjoys his retirement.

I'm sure he will conservative Presidents retire, liberal ones can't stand not being in the limelight even once advanced senility sets in. ie: Carter

I will be just as likely to read his book as he will be to write it.

Agreed. I don't do biographies. I'd rather read what another person has written about a historical figure. Example: The Real Abraham Lincoln. Do you think Bush, or Clinton, or scumbag Carter wouldn't leave out the less desirable facts from their lives?
