Buying a TV, Need Help

My suggestion is to looks at the reviews at CNET and ZDNET and also look at Consumer Reports at the library or pay to DL them from their site. I have a 42" Philips Plasma and we really like the image quality, but it is a 1080i not a 1080p which may or may not make a big difference for my tired eyes.

I'm going with either the Samsung or the 42" Toshiba Regza. They both look great and are under 1 grand. I'll have it in less than 2 weeks! :D

I made a choice! I went with a Sharp Aquos 42 inch. Full 1080p, 5 HDMI ports and the picture is incredible. The Navy Exchange had it on sale for $849. I also picked up a PS3 with GTA 4 and Metal Gear Solid 4; my GOD do the graphics look incredible!

But the best purchase? I picked up Bullitt on Blu-Ray.
