The latest member of the Retread family. Yes, my G'son gave her the new name tonight.

Tess is trying out a roommate on a one week basis. Then we all decide whether Tinkerbell is family or not.

Another cutie. I see they have her marked as "adopted".

How are she and Tess getting along? Our 2 rescues, Bella the greyhound and Cricket the rat terrier are rarely apart in the house. If someone comes, Cricket runs to Bella and hides behind or under her.

It looks like that group does really good work there. I saw one of the dogs listed is "fearful" and needs to learn to trust. That sounds like our little Cricket. She's finally starting to bond with us a bit more. She absolutely loves Bella, but they did say when we adopted her that she prefers the company of other dogs to people. She's actually starting to leave Bella for a few minutes and follow SR around the house.

If you get a chance, post pictures of them.

Our plan is to keep her unless some totally unexpected something turns up in the week. Off the my step-daughter the vet today to check the now named Lucy out and see when we need to have surgery on Tess. She has the knee problem of many small dogs with a slipping tendon.

My mom had a Yorkie who had that problem. He never needed surgery, but he needed to be carried around a lot when he got old. Luckily, he weighed 7 lbs.

Good for you to adopt 2 dogs, though. I always adopt mine, with mostly good results. My current dog, Delia, has been a challenge. I love her, but she is really a busy and sometimes vicious dog-Jack Russells. My BIL liked it when she got all vicious with my nieces' boyfriends, but then she turned on him and bit him.
