    I saw a story blaming our president for the cost of the avacado. It could have nothing to do with the recent labor strikes in mexico or drought as stated in a pile of other reports. The wall isn't going to stop the avacado as long as they have the rite documents. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2017...ce-hike-fears/

    Taxing mexican exports to the US is going to increase the price of the avocado, along with the other factors you mentioned. Trump wants to implement a tax on goods, and taxes on goods are always passed to the consumer. Republicans having been saying this for ages.

    Eating less avocados would also solve the problem.

    I wouldn't trust most of the vegetables grown in Mexico anyway
