A little late so I'll be brief. I am another Texan what's up with that. I am a true conservative who believes in minding my own business and not force my beliefs on others, I expect the same but in this day and era it don't seem to be working.
We have entered into a era of foreigners and leftist stealing our country using our own tax dollars. I hate liberals to the bone .. that about covers it for me.

Welcome. I feel the same way, angry about the way that things are going. No wonder Trump won. At least he says what most people are afraid to say and seems to be willing to try to do something about it. I'm also sick of our tax dollars going down the proverbial rat hole. In another thread complained about our way of life changing so much.

What part of Texas is your home? Long ago I lived in San Antonio for 7 years and truly loved it, even though they did call me a "damned Yankee", never considered St Louis as Yankee land, but it is way north of San Antonio.

Welcome and hope that you'll stay and enjoy the board.

My home is Houston or what is left of it, I left in 82 and have only been back two different times, once in 89 to work briefly then again in 05 for almost 3 years and I left again and moved back to La. No one in my immediate family is left in Houston any longer, still have some cousins in Galveston and around that area but for the most part no real family left there. It turned into another El Paso in a very short period starting in around the mid 70s until the 90s and someone forgot to close the gate. In 89 during that brief work period I tried to find old friends but had no luck and it was a few years later I found them on facebook and all had moved north to Lake Livingston and around that general area like a million others did. I don't do much forum posting any longer because it seems most forums are now all full of left wing nuts who try to be the rude people they are in daily life. I saw all this coming decades ago and I told people about it but no one listened to me and thought I was crazy, well except for my Brother and few others. It's a shame our youth of today have to be born into such a messed up society of mixed non Americans who have no allegiance or love of us but the money they love for sure. I have many veteran friends and even people I flew with 50 years ago so I might invite them to check out the forum; Most of us old veterans are not really in the mood to talk to leftist or non Americans. Like all the other veterans before and after my group we all have more invested than silly socialist tripe and ignorance. I think life from the very beginning has always been exactly like this, people who learned the hard way don't live long enough to share the experience with the youth and frankly most youth has never wanted to hear anything older people have to say. This is just another chapter in world history being written and I guess the best we can do is cope and try and weed out the Riff Raff .

Welcome aboard - looks like I may have lost the title of the aged one again!
    Damn! It's always something.
It's not how old you are, it's how you got here.
It's been a long road and not all of it was paved.
