He was. Then somebody got injured. And he weasel'd back in.

Probably because of Cam Newton, NFL defensive-schemes have a new position called a 'spy'... which one of the linebackers 'become' during games where they're playing a 'scrambling' quarterback like Kaepernick. The spy's sole responsibility is tackling the quarterback.

That's why Kaepernick was only effective his first 2 years. He's relatively easy to tackle if one guy is assigned to him.

That's a nasty, inhumane sentiment. Makes me wish that I didn't agree with it 100%.

In the long run it saves lives. You just pick a couple of the ugly slow ones.

    Oh my, Rock ...

You do have a wicked sense of humor. Ha! Ha! Which is probably why I like you!

    As for Apocalype's question ...

"So, how much of a delay do you think the anti Trump protesters will cause during the Super Bowl tomorrow?"

Have no idea, plus won't be watching it with Mr. ABC, but hopefully none, for those that are looking forward to seeing it.

Will however, after the game be curious to hear if anything the fool protesters did to successfully interrupt it.

BLM protesters set to intersect with Super Bowl crowds

The Houston chapter of Black Lives Matter, together with allied groups, is planning a Super Bowl protest march that could intersect with Super Bowl crowds.

Makes sense, after all, football - like polo - is exclusively a White man's sport.

No disruption. Nothing was delayed. No politics inserted anywhere.

Minor incidents may've happened outside, far away from the venue. Nothing that amounts to anything.

    Another empty threat-fest by BLM.

BLM protest happened right out side of the SB, and some patrons were blocked from getting in.

Cast members who sang God Bless America added "With Sisterhood" into the song.

I literally turned the game on at the kickoff due to all the excitement at TPC Scottsdale, but Buck and Aikman didn't mention any extracurriculars... as the game was starting on-time.

I caught the Anthem, which was uneventful.

I forgot about the Hamilton-cast... I would've clicked them off anyway.
