Greetings to all,
I am a retired engineer with 20 years of sobriety. I don't call myself a conservative. Almost all labels across the political spectrum have degenerated into a blur of multiple meanings. Specific issues, while important, are all too often used by the left and the right as a smoke screen. I believe in Liberty, the Constitution, the Bill of Rights (all 10 of them), the Declaration of Independence, our Republic as the greatest political experiment in human history and perhaps the last stand of Western Civilization. The planet is in deep trouble and I am not talking about climate change. I would vote for the devil himself if he would follow the Constitution and prioritize out space program as essential for national security and the long term survival of our species.
My interests are varied and include physics, history, cosmology, politics, cryptography and 20th century computers. My best friend is my Welsh terrier. I have enthusiastically supported Donald Trump since 2012 and believe that he will continue to withstand the slings and arrows his many and widely varied opponents across the board and go down as one of America's greatest presidents. I respect honest differences of opinion and despise hypocrisy.

Welcome to the destruction of the liberal media and to Democratic Party as a governing-body, which we're witnessing on these pages... doing our own small part here 'n there to push the process along.

Welcome to CU. Greetings from the Pensacola area, not too far from the Naval Air Station and Navy helicopter training areas. Besides folks with diverse opinions and interests, combined with active minds, you'll find a group of dog lovers. For example, SR and I. We have a retired greyhound rescue and a mixed up little rat terrier, a true survivor. She's a pound puppy we adopted in Dec. 16th, who backed out of her harness while being walked and was running around in a St Louis area ice storm and weather in the teens for 10 days before being trapped and returned to us. Right now we need a doggie pychologist to help the fearful little one.
You'll fit right in, so happy that you joined us.
