Who said Obama couldn't vote present as President? On Lou Dobbs Tonight, the story was about Democratic efforts to have a preliminary vote on a bail-out package for Detroit. At the last minute Reid scrapped the vote because he didn't have the votes. The anchor asked the on-site reporter where Obama was on this to which she replied, "nowhere". Even though he has said he was for a package, there have been no phone calls, no arm twisting, no nothing. You see, he can vote present as President. :D
