    Very interesting. The north pole is melting, slowly but surely, whether you like it or not. But Al Gore is simply using the natural global warming and cooling of the earth to create environmentalist zombies. Pollution is bad, but volcanic eruptions that happen frequently under the ocean release far more CO2 than any country. So unless you stop all volcanos, global warming will happen. Hence the end of the ice age.

    I also do not think global warming destroyed the Mayans...why would it only affect them? The whole issue is way to blown up. Of course make technologies as clean, efficient, and environmentally friendly as possible...but we cannot live in a bubble; not everything will be clean.

    A very good point. I completely agree. The ice caps may be melting, but that doesn't mean everything is caused by 'deadly' global warming. Many islands disappear over time.
