Yep, that is called massive recalls and they do not have the cash flow to withstand that.

It's not how old you are, it's how you got here.
It's been a long road and not all of it was paved.

    Teslas are pretty fast...

...for brief spurts of power, but for sustained power you need to baby them as mentioned in the video. They don't seem ideal for numerous road trips unless you budget in a few hours to stop and charge.

One more video by the same guy shows the frustrations Tesla owners have in waiting to recharge at the super charge stations.

If I understood the road trip correctly he should have seen Lamborghinis, Ferraris, vettes, McLarens, Aston Martins, etc.
Here's the top 25 https://www.digitaltrends.com/cars/f...oto-gallery/2/ and they don't even give Musk an honorable mention. This is/was CA and you can see two or more of these on a daily trip to the store in most places.

Then there's the 'dead batt' after the plane trip - ya mean to tell me your rinky dink terminal doesn't have EV plugins to keep you charged up while you're out of town? Even IAH (George Bush) has those.

I have a coworker from Las Vegas that fills in at our location once in a while. He has a BMW electric something and the mountain between Vegas and where I live really sucks his battery. He was stuck in road construction one day and really nervous that he was not going to make it and would be forced to hitch hike. Parts of that drive are also absent from cell phone service.

He sure is proud of that car though...lol
