It’s been 20 years since quantum scientists successfully teleported a photon over 10 miles, proving that quantum entanglement — a process that Albert Einstein called “spooky action at a distance” -- was possible.

The very unnatural phenomenon occurs when two quantum objects, such as photons,*share a wave function. Since they come into existence at the exact same time and place, they share the same identity, even when separated. What happens to one happens to the other — wherever it exists.

    'Teleported'.. ??!?

    That's a theory.

    FOX: space-breakthrough
    CBS Boston: major breakthrough
    USA Today: major breakthrough
    Yahoo: major breakthrough...

They're taking China's word for it. You can take a magnifying-glass and duplicate the photons passing through it. You're teleporting it to the blade of grass, according to the Chinese information-crowd.

It doesn't make sense to 'teleport' something that moves at the speed of light. I suspect what they're trying to do is 'piggyback' something like a radio-signal onto a photon-beam. So the speed of sound travels at the speed of light.

They call that "Faster than a New York Heartbeat".. Today a radio signal from Mars to earth is at the longest 24 minutes, or about as slow as my internet speed
