    I love the ancient history, Romans were so advanced then. One of the coolest things about Pom Pei was the hot water provided by large overhead troughs that provided each house with hot water, of course it got a lot hotter later on but it is still a marvel to see the engineering of the day. Those archways are still standing and not one bolt or rivet was used, just precise cuts into solid rock and the natural weight of each rock. With oil lamps and living conditions I would think it was easy for a massive fire to break out, and of course we all know how easy it is to start some fake news heh

    It is amazing how many Roman structures still stand in Europe.
