We have a new toy in the house to annoy the dogs
and clean up after their shedding!!!

    It's an LG Hom-Bot.

Best part...we are testing a new model of it
and get to keep it. For free.

It's running right now, I'm testing the auto on timer.

It returns to its charger when the battery gets low.

It's Wi-Fi controlled, the App is on my smart phone.

I have had my doubts about how well these things work but
so far I'm pretty impressed with this thing.

It has a pretty good vacuum for carpet that turns on/off
    when extra power is needed.

May the FORCE be with you!

What's scary is that we went out to my son and daughter in law's home for dinner. The robot had been on a test run before we left. It was in the docking station, recharging. When we got home, it had moved. At first we thought one of the dogs had somehow pulled it out and was playing/attacking it.

But then we noticed that the other half of the kitchen, on the opposite side of the island, was clean. That dear little robot slave must have known that I wanted the whole kitchen clean, not just half.

Now SR's playing with it again. This time it's cleaning the whole house.

Very cool. The robo-vacs are benefiting from technological advances.

Have to look in on that one. Our old Roomba was a major disappointment.
It's not how old you are, it's how you got here.
It's been a long road and not all of it was paved.
