Who would have thought dairy products would be such divisive issue? Many people on the left believe that milk is racist and now People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) says eating cheese is sexist. Okay, considering where this stuff is coming from, maybe it’s not all that shocking. What is kind of a stunner is that PETA claims that cows are raped in order to get their milk, which in turn is used to make “sexist” cheese.

So this is an actual thing that PETA is promoting: Why Cheese Is the Most Sexist Thing You Can Eat

It seems like eating a human woman’s heart because you hate all females would be the most sexist thing you could eat, but whatever. PETA is damn serious about this:

Can food really be sexist? Yes, when it’s the product of imprisonment, rape, reproductive control, kidnapping, and abuse.

    Rape? Yes, rape:

Contrary to popular belief, female cows produce milk only when they’re pregnant or nursing. They make milk for the same reason that human women do: to feed their babies. Cows who are imprisoned on dairy farms are forcibly impregnated through artificial insemination again and again on rape racks. Rape racks. All for your milk, cheese, and yogurt.

Nice one, PETA. Now “rape rack” is a thing

It depends on how strict you are, nothing had to die. I was raised Seventh-day Adventist vegetarian. It didn't take with me, I'm a carnivore.

Vegetarian is different from vegan. Vegetarians, variously, may consume dairy or eggs; they see it as a nutritional thing. Vegans reject all animal products, food and otherwise: no meat; no dairy; no eggs; no fish; no honey; no leather. Vegans see it as a morals thing.

Vegans can get intensely weird about it. Once upon a time, the busiest homeschooling discussion site on the 'net was hosted by a larger vegan site. One literally was not allowed to mention animal products, foods that contained meat, etc., or restaurants known for serving meat. They had other shibboleths as well, and all in all it was a bit repressive. Their homeschooling boards are long dead, now, the most recent post (as of a few months ago) being spam.

No, I think they are saying that cows should be allowed to roam free and mate whenever the females are fertile, as long as humans don't interfere, steal their milk, eat their babies, etc.

    Oh, go away PETA fools!

    I will eat whatever I please ...

(As long as it doesn't have too, too many carbs, that is!)

Besides, I love Sargento Baby Swiss Cheese Slices and Philadelphia Blueberry Cream Cheese Spread. Great stuff!
