I slow baked some pork ribs with about 2/3 cup of lime soy sauce with a cup of guava and passion fruit and served it with rice and mushroom green beans, fantastic, no leftovers, I can't move.

We cooked a small pork roast, with some apples sprinkled with cinnamon and some potatoes with garlic cooked in the same roasting pan. SR didn't think he'd like the apples, but he ate his share. Guess they weren't all that bad.

Looking forward to eating some of the bacon we got at Fresh Thyme (small neighborhood store) today. It's thick sliced, in the butcher case. We got 2 lbs of the pepper bacon and a pound of the applewood smoked bacon. We had bought a package of regular old bacon at the super market, and it didn't even taste like bacon, more like cardboard. The bacon we got today is excellent. And it was on sale for $1.99 a lb, limit 3. I've been waiting for it to go on sale again. It's been $4.99 a lb for the last few months.

was priced to sell. And it defrosted already!!
