Tokyo (CNN) US President Donald Trump has warned that "all options are on the table" after North Korea launched a missile over Japan early Tuesday.

The missile was fired just before 6 a.m. in Japan, where the launch set off warnings in the northern part of the country urging people to seek shelter.

"The world has received North Korea's latest message loud and clear," Trump said in a statement. "This regime has signaled its contempt for its neighbors, for all members of the United Nations, and for minimum standards of acceptable international behavior."

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe also denounced Tuesday's launch, saying it represented a "most serious and grave" threat.

    This boy just never learns...

Shoot the next one down if it flies over Japan or any other country that isn't NK/Russia/China.

Fat boy is playing Russian Roulette with a gun that he doesn't know how many bullets have been loaded in.

All it will take is a malfunction to cause a missile that was supposed to overly Japan to crash into Japan and trigger a nuclear response from several possible countries.

Well it's a fine line when deciding if it overflew Japan, these ballistic missiles are outside the atmosphere so the path could be anywhere it decides to reenter . To say it flew over Japan is stretching it a bit, now inside the atmosphere and lower altitude and trajectory directly over Japan is a different story. The news is not clear on that but I doubt it was just a high altitude and over path, surely he isn't that stupid because that would certainly draw an immediate return ...

He just might be that stupid. He's playing with fire. I wonder what would happen if one of those rockets of his landed in China?

That would actually be the best case scenario, imo. Or Russia. Make it real for Lil' Kim's allies.

Next target Guam, North Korea says

By Brad Lendon and Joshua Berlinger, CNN
Updated 6:01 AM ET, Wed August 30, 2017

(CNN) North Korea's launch of a missile over Japan was a prelude to more military operations directed at the American territory of Guam, North Korean state media warned Wednesday.

The country's state-run Korean Central News Agencyreported leader Kim Jong Un presided over the dawn launch Tuesday of the "ultra-modern rocket system," the first missile ever fired from the capital Pyongyang.

North Korean officials told CNN in Pyongyang that Kim was "very satisfied with the performance of the missile."

The intermediate-range missile, identified by the North Koreans as the Hwasong-12, flew over Japan, further fueling tensions between North Korea and the United States and its allies, Japan and South Korea.

I wonder how "satisfied" he'll be when the USAF drops a
few MOAB's on his widdle head???

In our day these new large bombs were called Daisy Cutters, used in the Vietnam war to make LZs in areas that were heavy tree lines and no landings would have been possible. I feel pretty sure they are now using different explosive compounds to make them more powerful but at the time the only aircraft that could drop one was the Air Force C-130 and the huge bomb was rolled out the back by a drag chute deployed. Now these new bombs are carried by the B-2 and it is a stealth aircraft so they won't know what hit them until the smoke clears.
