Is Elizabeth Warren lying about her Native American lineage?

This seems to be a BIG think with right wingers. So what do you think?

Not Sure 5 (5%) (DUers showcase their ignorance, cluelessness and lack of curiosity and industry in discovering the truth.)

Don't Care 26 (27%) (DUers: WHO CARES if a DEMOCRAT appropriates the Native American race for professional and financial gain. She's OUR corrupt lying politician and it doesn't matter. If a conservative does it, well that's a different story.)

    1. RWers don't think

They make decisions based on feelings.

I don't see the point of running a poll based on RWers' beliefs and whether we agree with them. It just buys into their worldview and their agenda.
It's conservatives who don't think? LOL. It's liberals who blindly take her word for it even after it has been an issue and genealogical research has been done.

Elizabeth Warren, liar. It's the left who judges others and determines their supposed "truthfulness" by how they feel about them, not facts, including where they stand politically.

    16. With all the new DNA services out there, I hope Nazis start "proving" their heritage.

It will shock a huge number of them. That may be the biggest game-change of all. If you know a Nazi, give them a DNA kit for Christmas.

    2. Why hasn't this been cleared up yet?

    $99 bucks or less FFS.
The liar refuses to do the DNA test. She knows what it will show.

Because SHE'S NOT NATIVE AMERICAN, but she continues to profit from claiming she is.

    20. I've done genealogy for my family and some of the stories passed down are false.

Some of them are very true. I think this is just the case that Warren heard from family that there was ancestry in her family.
Nothing wrong with finding out family stories are not true and admitting it. But WHO claims that they are Native American, or any other minority, on school and job forms using "family lore"? Growing up and as an adult she had exactly NO contact with Native American Culture.

    10. I don't care, but she should USE the controversy to her advantage. Say she'll have a DNA test if...

Say she'll have a DNA test if Trump releases the last 10 years of his tax returns.

    6. They have a stereotype image of what they believe Native Americans look like.

There are people with Native American ancestry who have blonde hair and blue eyes. Just like there are Jewish people with blonde hair and blue eyes. There are people with African American heritage who have blonde hair and blue eyes. That is the way genetics work. The people who can not understand that are ignorant at best and racist at worst, just like Trump.
That's laughable. Typical for someone who has stereotypes, biases and bigotry about conservatives however, not to mention hatred.

Liberals love their lying, corrupt (and sexual assaulting) Democrats though. The worse they are the more they love and defend them.

Nope, you can't leave a thread that is so easy to prove DUers and Warren's lies and idiocy.

to come and explain their votes. If they have evidence maybe they should come out with it.

I think that Warren probably has a smidgen of Native American heritage. A lot of people do. It's not enough for tribe membership/casino profit-sharing.

Elizabeth Warren's heritage had nothing to do with honoring the Navaho code breakers, though.

The only little Indian Elizabeth had in her was when she went on a date with that one in college.

Fauxcahontas is as Native American as the guy who did the 1970s anti-littering commercials while dressed in a ceremonial chief's regalia. He was Italian.

Back around the time this first came up, I recall reading that it was concluded that it might be possible there was one Indian ancestress in the woodpile back around the Trail of Tears time and place, but that definitely one of her male ancestors was a US soldier assigned to herding the Cherokee on that genocidal death march.

Nicknames for Warren have been proliferating. I liked the one by KSFO's Katie Green this AM: Pocahonky.

That's pretty good, first time I've heard it. I just usually go with well-trodden path and call her Fauxahontas.
