Georgetown University recently approved a residential living space reserved exclusively for students interested in “exploring” gender and sexuality.

The “Crossroads: Gender and Sexuality” Living Learning Community (LLC) was initially rejected by the Office of Residential Life in April, but was subsequently approved in December, according to an email obtained by Campus Reform.

In the email, Associate Director of Residential Education Katie Heather informs student Grace Smith, a leader of the LLC effort, that her proposal has “been approved and accepted for the 2018-2019 academic year.”

She did note, however, that “logistics for this community are in the process of being finalized,” including the “location of the community” and the “application process.”

sounds more like an orgy house rather than student lodging.
The price of freedom is something the protected will never know.

That's what frat houses are for! At least hetero orgies and some lesbianism, depending on how much grain alcohol they put in the punch.

I think its a form of voluntary segregation, and LGBTQ people should be very careful about entering into such arrangements. What you think can protect you can be used to hurt you, too.

I was in two different 4 bedroom suites on campus once.
The first one had three gay dudes and the place was a pig sty. You could not see the floor or the sink.
The second one had three republican dudes and the place was clean. They cooked their own meals every night and went to bed by 10pm.

This is just my experience but it was very telling to me.

This isn't new! We had dorms like this at my college in the early 1970's. It was called "Option 4" housing, and you could have a female roommate. Good times!

I guess I went to the wrong school.

    Welcome aboard.
