Only in the minds of some liberal haters is a "travel advisory" equated with "dictatorship". Typical of yui though.

    1. Americans will ignore and still travel.

Sessions will probably want to those that do in jail. This administration is nuts.

    2. That is an advisory warning not a travel ban.

    4. So what happens at the border with the border Patrol?

Will they prevent visitors from going back and forth?
The stupid is strong here. She doesn't even check out what it is all about before stupidly claiming it's a Trump dictatorship move.

    11. No, advisories are warnings not prohibitions. n/t

    3. That is incentive for me to travel there

And I'm sure there are a lot of Americans who feel the same way. I doubt this will kill off tourism in Mexico.
Good. We just might have fewer liberals to contend with. Just don't come back bellyaching about being robbed, raped, kidnapped or having loved ones killed.

    5. Acapulco is off limits?

It is in the middle of Guerrero, one of the listed states.

    9. has been for ages, really. Fam in mexico says do not go there...or Cabo.

We still go to the Yucatan. No problems.

Costa Rica is not supersafe either.

    6. This must be the inspiration to make Mexico pay for the wall

Boy that Trump is a crafty one. Declare their states 'do not travel' zones, and leave that designation until Mexico coughs up $20 billion or more for the wall.

How did we miss this masterful art of the deal?

Mexico's check should arrive on Donnie's desk by the end of the week I guess.

    8. always figured

    12. Its a warning. An advisory.

Thereís been a significant flareup in violence there in the last week, including an enormous shootout with a bunch of dead policemen.

There will be no issues with border agents or the like, theyíre just saying that Americans may want to rethink a visit at the moment.

Hope the DUmmies decide to show President Trump up and travel there. Those 5 regions are extremely high in kidnappings and murders. They are so bad resorts in those areas don't dare let guest leave the resorts.

This is pretty much the stupid one can expect from DU.

    1. It's an advisory, a warning. Not a travel restriction.

    2. It's because those areas are dangerous.

It took something like 7 responses for less stupid members to point out those basic facts. And they probably caught flak for pointing out obvious facts!

Trump's State Department is not alone in this advisory: https://www.ctvnews.ca/canada/ottawa...ings-1.3246296

And you knew this would be the case:

    https://mx.usembassy.gov/fact-sheet-travel-warning/

The U.S. Department of State renewed the Travel Warning for Mexico on April 15, 2016.
