Majorities in new poll say Trump not level-headed or fit for office

    Source: The Hill

A majority of respondents in a new poll say President Trump is not level-headed or fit for office.

Sixty-nine percent of respondents said Trump is not level-headed, and only 28 percent said he is, according to the Quinnipiac University poll released Wednesday.

Sixty-five percent of Republicans said he is level-headed, with 32 percent disagreeing, while a massive 93 percent of Democrats said he is not.

Most, 57 percent, said Trump is not "fit to serve as president." Republicans say 89 percent to 10 percent that Trump is fit, with only 7 percent of Democrats in agreement.

LOL at the way they will gloat over this. However, it only proves that LIBERALS/DEMOCRATS are hatefilled temper tantrum throwing adolescents who are set on revenge because HE won the election instead of Hillybitch.

    1. From the actual poll wesite

"President Donald Trump is intelligent, American voters say 53 - 44 percent, one of his lowest scores since Inauguration day, but voters say 69 - 28 percent that he is not level-headed and 57 - 40 percent that he is not fit to serve as president, according to a Quinnipiac University National Poll released today.

Grading President Trump's first year in office, 39 percent of voters give him an "F," while 17 percent give him a "D." Trump gets an "A" from 16 percent of voters, a "B" from another 16 percent and a "C" from 11 percent of voters, the independent Quinnipiac (KWIN-uh- pe-ack) University Poll finds.

In an open-ended question, allowing any answer, 69 voters (not percent) describe Trump's first year in office as a "disaster," followed by 62 voters who say "chaotic," 44 voters who say "successful," 28 voters who say "horrible," 27 voters who say "great," 26 who say "good," 24 who say "terrible," 24 who say "embarrassing" and 23 who say "interesting."

Of the 43 words used at least five times, 25 words are negative, 10 are positive and 8 words are neutral, such as "interesting" or "different."

American voters give Trump a negative 36 - 59 percent job approval rating, compared to a negative 36 - 44 percent score in a January 26, 2017, post-inaugural poll. In his first year as president, Trump's rating ranges from a low negative 33 - 61 percent approval August 2 to a negative 42 - 51 percent score February 7. "
And the same goes for all the rest of the questions. Because of their hate, their opinions are simply irrelavent.

    Oh and the Party Identification......

    PARTY IDENTIFICATION

    Republican 23%

    Democrat 34

    Independent 38

    Other/DK/NA 5

Does anyone else really believe that there is 12% MORE Democrats than Republicans? And which way do the Independents lean? Did they chose those who leaned left vs. right?

Yea, it means nothing. In June 2017 a Gallup pole said that Democrats were up - UP TO 5 points. If it was an actual accurate split then it would be much lower, and would actually say no more than this split because of the hatred and temper tantrums of the Democrat Party.

gopiscrap (16,649 posts) I find it interesting that these polls come out that say

trump is not fit for office....

For all those who voted for the orange shit gibbon, you saw him in action during the campaign...so FUCK YOU!!!

and for those of you who sat on your hands and didn't bother to vote: SHAME ON YOU!!!
Well Demicrap, if they used an accurate split of party identification it would be little changed from election day. When Democrats act like temper tantrum throwing spoiled children yelling and screaming that they didn't get their way and get The Hillybitch elected and ALL decide to say he's unfit for the position NO MATTER WHAT HE DOES (unless of course he gets on his knees, sucks Democrat ass and obediently does what they tell him to do) of course it will be this way.

DID YOU SEE THAT 89% OF REPUBLICANS SAY HE IS FIT FOR THE OFFICE?

And when you act like spoiled children having a temper tantrum? Then WE and our opinion IS THE ONLY ONE THAT MATTERS.

DEMOCRATS CAN SIT DOWN AND SHUT UP. (Oh I know they won't. Spoiled children throwing a temper tantrum don't either.)

Irony - those that say President Trump is mentally unstable and not fit for office are also the ones that claim there are more than 2 genders in the human species.

You let me wordcraft the questions and compose the sample and I'll give you whatever results you want. Those are the reasons DU-folk were in chicken-counting gloat mode a couple of months before the election, and have been in utter shock since Election Day.

Just another skewed poll stacked with Democrats. I feel certain that these polls are really aimed at convincing those in the middle and perhaps leaning towards Trump that the majority of the country hates him. A by-product of this is that it creates unreal expectations in liberals who are shocked with the truth comes out. Look at Hillary given up to a 92% chance of winning the election only to fall flat. I am fairly sure that the 92% was meant to sway fence sitters and wasn't a real number.

The only poll that matters was the one taken on November 8. 2016.

It's like they think that if the 25th amendment is invoked, Hillary Clinton will be president. No. Pence will be president with a new VP being chosen and it won't be Hillary.

I think that given that he didn't win the popular vote, it's probably not hard to come up with poll numbers like that.

I'm not de-legitimizing the Electoral College, just making a simple point that doesn't require a whole lot of math understanding.
