The latest flop for a Democratic party that has become a one-trick donkey thanks to identity politics is the national campaign for a $15 an hour minimum wage.

The geniuses in charge of the party and their union backers undertook a massive national campaign of protests on behalf of low-wage, unskilled workers who toiled in fast food and other traditionally dead-end industries.

The “Fight for Fifteen” became a rallying cry from many opportunistic Democrats and none embraced it more than sicko socialist Bernie Sanders. Even Hillary Clinton once tried to get in on the action by telling fast-food workers that she would be their “champion” although that fizzled out early on.

The one thing about the entire idea to emphasize that burger flippers matter was the con job of convincing people who aren’t exactly the brightest bulbs in the marquee that forcing employers to pay them more was in their best interests
