Bought some yesterday and today, near the end.

There is nothing wrong with the fundamentals, you
are stupid to sell now. This is all program selling.

"What goes up must come down"

I remember on my birthday (Oct. 19th.) in 1987, the market fell 22% ...

Mr. ABC and I, being in for the long run, survived that correction.

    Today's fall was 4.6%.

To put it in perspective, in this market with a growing economy and low unemployment, this is not the time to panic.

I agree, minor correction, but, being a paranoid nutjob, I have this lurking fear that some cabal of Soros type, Trump hating. billionaires and money managers will get together on one of these 'corrections' and schedule a profit taking dogpile in an attempt to trigger a real global crash and provide the coup de grâce on the president to cement their long term position as the movers ans shakers of the world. Whatever the fundamentals are, the market is driven by psychology.

It was actually down only 7/10th's of a penny (point) around 11AM-ish.

I think it was program-selling too, most of it. It was gonna happen sooner or later... more people working, with higher wages... growth predicted to be at 5% last quarter... inflation worries. I don't know what to think of interest-rates yet, as new Fed Chair, Powell took-over today. I hope they stay at 2%.

From one paranoid nutjob to another---I agree. I've been telling SR how nervous I was getting when Trump started touting the economy. Cue in the evil Hildabeast---remember all the dough she was raking in from the Wall Street boys for those speeches? I don't trust the Dems, the Clintons or Obama.

I agree, the President has plenty of achievements to ballyhoo about but I always cringed a little when he goes on about a new record market high.

    Wheeeeee!

    Opens down 500 ...

Then up 330, changing by the minute in first 30 minutes of trading.
