Thank you Eagles. I'm not a Patriots hater but I am tired of them appearing in the Super Bowl.

They were overdue for a win, for sure. Great game-plan. Great QB-protection.

This brings-to-a-close, the year of kneeling and the year of the excruciating 'process catch' video delays.

My feelings exactly. I was glad for the Eagles to win. The Patriots were a bit too confident and perhaps arrogant, mixed with that feeling of entitlement.

I really don't care who wins, except that I like Tom Brady.

Unless the Lions someday make it to the Super Bowl. It could happen before I die. LOL, they were selling Lions t-shirts this year that said something like 'A championship in my lifetime". The pastor at one of my church's other campuses is also the Lions' chaplain. He is the target of many jokes.

You're getting the Patriots' defensive coordinator as your head coach. Yes, the guy who couldn't gameplan a way to stop a backup QB in the biggest game of the year is going to be the Lions head coach. Let that sink in.

That said, I'm a Cardinals fan living in Eagles country and I got a little emotional over this win by them only because my dad didn't live to see this. He passed last March and would have been tickled pink to see the Eagles finally pull it off.

I had no dog in this fight but fully believe a royally screwed up ruling put the Pats in the game. They should not have been there. OTOH I am particularly pleased that a Texas boy put the Brady/Belichick duo in the dirt.

Doug Petersen, Nick Foles, and Zach Ertz all praised God after the game while being interviewed. I bet that burnt a few liberal britches.
