It's not how old you are, it's how you got here.
It's been a long road and not all of it was paved.

I wish I didn't like Amazon with all the leftist political views that Bezos supports.
I live a 45 minute drive from most stores, if I have to go to town for hardware or parts I blow 5 to 10 dollars in gas and at least 3 hours. I can order almost anything I need from Amazon and have it delivered in 2 days or less.
Since Amazons started attacks on Trump I have cut my dealings with them about 75%, I use Jet more and more all the time, they are owned by Walmart."If the Bible is true why don't we have any urns or vessels that like say expires 6/15/300 BC on the bottom?"

I use it quite a bit. It's convenient and they usually have what I need. I also remember when they had brick and mortar stores.
Progressivism is a bottomless pit of absurdity.

My usage is similar to Rock's.
Sometimes you need a real brick and mortar store if you aren't sure exactly what you need especially a hardware store. Also if you need something immediately for a repair or to finish a product.
I have a little folder in favorites for amazon pages links and try to get free shipping.
I have never heard of Jet Rock I'll take a look, Thanks for the info

Yes, I love Amazon and Amazon Prime.
1. You can find almost anything.
2. I do price checking. Most of the time the difference is trivial when you factor in shipping; many times cheaper.
3. Brick and Mortar stores charge sales tax, most Amazon sales do not.
4. If you live 'in the middle of nowhere', like I do, you can burn a full tank of gas to get to a brick and mortar store and spend a whole day doing it.
5. My daughter lives in NYC, brick and mortar stores in Manhattan are disappearing. High rent and competition from......Amazon.
6. Thousands of crappy TV series and movies and a few good ones; no extra charge.
7. Reward points if you use their card to pay.

I buy on occasion, when I can find it nowhere else and need it. The prices are RARELY the cheapest, but I access them often to use their price as a gage of what to pay at the most.
That said Jeff Bezos founder and CEO is only worth $120 BILLION. He, Zukerman of Facebook and about 20+ others whose total wealth worth is in excess of the annual revenues of the Federal Govt ($4T) are extreme far left socialists who strongly believe in Distribution of wealth (except theirs) and socialism thru the Universal Basic Income (UBI). These kids are DANGEROUS to America and everything we hold as the American way. They are the REAL Fascists we need to worry about.Don
