    This is mostly where I am. Track and field can keep me in my seat even if I have to watch it muted. The winter competition is sparse on interest - speed skating, bobsled, luge, skeleton, and, ta-da-da-da, curling.

    I watched the closing ceremony---a testimonial to the technical progress the South Koreans have made. I could do without that K pop stuff. The shrieking music was grating on my last nerve. Maybe I'm just getting older and grouchy. LOL.
