    As if using dead people and and illegals voting wasn't bad enough. Seems as though Democrats can't win elections unless they get every miscreant to vote. And, once again, if they were rabid conservatives this wouldn't even be on the table: https://www.wsj.com/articles/new-jer...ote-1519690171

    Why should people incarcerated by a government not have the opportunity to attempt to change that government?

    Should you lose your right to vote because New Jersey decided to imprison you for owning an 11 round magazine?
    ... certain forms of ammunition have no legitimate sporting, recreational, or self-defense use and thus should be prohibited. Such action is long overdue.

    Don’t commit the crime if you cannot do the time.
    It's not how old you are, it's how you got here.
    It's been a long road and not all of it was paved.

    Pretty much everything wrong with modern conservatism in one sentence.

    It'll be a situation where SCOTUS says public-sector unions can't compel their members to financially support ideologies they don't believe in.

    Felons voting will be shot-down on that battlefield.

    Either that, or make government-union dues voluntary. Dems can't have both.

    So.... I read that a “If you wanna do it, it ought not be illegal”

    Can’t agree with that unless you’re the king or the dictator.

    Very few things should be illegal.

    Conservatives used to believe that before they were infected with the progressive disease and abandoned small government and the Constitution.

    Felons voting? You have valid points but they should no longer be under any government supervision.
    We all know why they would like felons to vote and that is to elect a group of totalitarians that wish to void our constitution.

    Remember, democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself.
    John Adams
    We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion. Avarice, ambition, revenge, or gallantry, would break the strongest cords of our Constitution as a whale goes through a net. Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.
    John Adams (The Works of John Adams, ed. C. F. Adams, Boston: Little, Brown Co., 1851, 4:31)
    Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil;
    Who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness;
    Who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!
    21 Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes
    And clever in their own sight! Isaiah 5:20-21 NASB

    When everything is a felony, the word felon stops being particularly scary. Martha Stewart is a felon for pity's sake.

    You people elected a man currently giving a news conference and advocating passing the first federal gun laws in twenty-four years. He says he wants to ban bump stocks by executive fiat. Don't cry to me about a group of totalitarians that wish to void our constitution.

    You are deflecting, address what I said.
