He started-out in January around 70% of his former self, in terms of abilities on the golf-course.

He entered this Tournament (Velspar) at about 80% of 'the old Tiger'.

    Now, entering today's final-round, he's close to 90%.

I don't have a dog in the hunt, but I won't cry if he wins. Puts pressure on the newer guys who never knew the impact Tiger has on a leaderboard. You have to overcome yourself and overcome a guy who's looking to smoke you.

Never root for him. But it is good for the sport.

Was happier that Phil won last week. Rarely anymore is a tour pro older than myself win. Even though Phil is only 1 day older than me, it still is true!

Yeah. Phil had that refuse to lose thing going once he climbed-into a share of the lead last week.

Tiger finished second after sinking a 44-footer on 17. He actually beat everybody that teed-off behind the winner, Paul Casey, who was about 5-groups ahead of them. Tiger finished one shot behind.

And another "old guy" ended up winning yesterday. Paul Casey is 40.
