Lots of other countries' out-of-date surplus vehicles and ordnance.

Just saw a symposium on CSpan about their problems of missile-trajectory. They can only attain a 67-degree climb, which won't even reach Riyadh before the fuel runs-out. Not to mention we've sold over a hundred Patriot-batteries to Saudi, UAE, Qatar, Oman, etc.

If we do go to war with Iran, it's because they attacked the oilfields.

And not because Israel wants them neutralized?

We won't be going directly to war with Iran but Saudi Arabia will. We will back the Saudi's and keep them supplied with weapons.

Good point. The current Saudi King seems like a reformer, too, has a different view of women than past leaders.

I'm reasonably sure not totally because.

That said, we could be looking for any excuse to go in. And we probably won't work-from a Rumsfeld-model of 'letting prisoners return to their homes' before the dust is settled.

That might explain the change in policy now that there is a Saudi prince to back it.
