Eric Reid believes kneeling with Colin Kaepernick is the reason he is still a free agent.

The safety was the first 49er to protest inequality during the national anthem alongside Kaepernick and a few days into the signing period, he isnt on a roster.

The notion that I can be a great signing for your team for cheap, not because of my skill set but because Ive protested systemic oppression, is ludicrous, Reid tweeted Thursday. If you think is [sic], then your mindset is part of the problem too.
It doesn't occur to mooks like this guy that some teams might already have players who they like. He also doesn't understand that maybe teams don't want to kill their free agency cap.

He also doesn't understand that football is a business. The Eagles traded for Michael Bennett and they're going to see first hand what happens when you bring a guy like this onto your team.
