Damn! RIP Harry. Night Court is one of the funniest shows ever produced.

I'll never forget it when he juggled knives-I don't remember if it was on SNL or stand-up on HBO.

He'd get going, naming the knives and lastly adding a cleaver, "Beaver the Cleaver". That might have been before Night Court. He was on Cheers as a recurring character before Night Court.

I have also noticed that real friends are more valuable than they used to be as you get older they thin out. You always find more but you have less in common with the younger ones and often they have a tendency to annoy.

He says the “Cheers” character was the personality he developed as a street performer in San Fran, New Orleans and Austin.

Has anyone heard any more beyond ‘natural causes’?

Sorry to hear this. I enjoyed Night Court, and Harry Anderson's comedy was actually funny. (These days, comedians aren't that naturally amusing in general). He had the feel of an old vaudeville star.
