We went to see Phantom of the Opera at
the Fox Theatre here in St. Louis.

We went to the early afternoon showing at
1pm and we had a greyt time.

Super show and we both had a really
    nice day.
May the FORCE be with you!

It really was nice. We haven't done anything much for some time. The Fox Theater is one of those movie palaces from the old days---the really old days. It was built in 1929 and is magnificent. Luckily for the theater, it was restored to its old glory. A couple of years ago SR and I took a tour of the place and saw where so many stars signed the backstage area walls. The stage is huge and the decor is lavish, all gilt.

We didn't go out to eat afterwards because the show was long, got caught in rush hour traffic, as well as the traffic due to the theater letting out, and the big reason---had to let the dogs out.
