I'm going to go with Nebraska in 1995.

The average game score for them was 53-14.

The three closest games they played were beating Washington State by 14, #8 Kansas State by 24, and at #7 Colorado by 23. They won at #10 Kansas by 38 and beat #2 Florida by 38 for the National Championship.

They may not have been loaded with future NFL starts but they were absolute beasts.

I do put them right up there with the Canes, but I still favor Miami, slightly. In a warm climate, Miami's speed would be too much. In a frozen wasteland, Nebraska's power would win the day.

That's a ridiculous amount of talent Butch Davis put together. Who knows how many they would have won had he not gone to Cleveland.

It's a shame Coker ran that program into the ground.

Coker is the worst coach to ever win a National Championship. Has he even been offered another gig?
