Robert De Niro Slams Trump at the Tonys: 'F-- Trump'

    Source: Variety

Robert De Niro had a simple introduction to Bruce Springsteen's Tony performance.

"I just want to say one thing," De Niro said. " F-- Trump. It's no longer down with Trump. It's f-- Trump."

Shame CBS censored him. But it was easy to find out what he said once I checked online...

Editing to add that he got a standing ovation for this.
    _______

Editing again to add unedited, uncensored video of this posted on Twitter by The Hollywood Reporter's Rhett Bartlett -- the Australian feed did NOT censor it:
How unsurprising, liberals acting like a cross between a petulant child and a sewer in public..............and then they are soooooooooooo proud of themselves.

    1. As fitting as when Michael Moore went after Shrub at the Academy Awards.
Yes, we know they never grow up or change.

    23. Yeah, I hope he's livid and seething over this!

    Fuck trump for everything!
They really think a lot of themselves don't they?

This kind of thing says more about who THEY are than anything about President Trump.

    A classic example of TDS.

Had actor/actress said this about obama, they would have been blackballed from Hollywood forever and labeled a racist for life.

"Even if Trump didn't pay Russian hookers to pee on one another to defile a bed the Obamas once slept on it sounds like something he would do and that's all that matters." DemocratSinceBirth, Wed Jan 11, 2017, 09:32 AM

De Niro proves again what a classy guy he is. I've come to the conclusion that he is not an actor; he just plays himself in all his roles.

He's a damn actor. Nothing more. Ask a plumber. Ask a short-order cook. Either is just as qualified as De Niro. In fact they have more insight. De Niro lives in the make believe world of Hollywood. His entire existence has no base in reality. He can't comprehend reality.

It is when arrogance and ignorance come together.

Just as he has since January, 2017, Donald Trump woke up in the White House the morning after De Niro's impotent outburst, still President of the United States. As he will until January, 2021 and (increasingly likely!) maybe January, 2025.

Note to "Warpy" and "shockey80": I voted for Donald Trump! I would do so again!

He certainly turned out to be a very disappointing person, like most other old actors they are washed up and can't live without attention and crowds. This is a very small cross section of America and they can all get together and wallow in it for life as far I'm concerned. You just turn them off when their movies come on, that's about the best way to deal with the communist. Keep voting and inspiring others to vote so these scum never control us again. Eventually all these people like him will be on the nightly news telling of their demise, usually by their own hand., I hope they keep up the good work

I knew De Niro was a lib but until he started to show signs of dementia I use to respect him and his abilities. He was outstanding in Goodfellas. Now he's just an old guy showing the onset of Alzheimer's Disease.

It's a shame. De Niro used to be a stand- up guy. He was well- known for his immense generosity towards his fellow New Yorkers in the wake of 9/11, and for showing moral fiber by standing up to/ throwing out a scumbag director who came to his restaurant to try to convince him to play Giuliani in a movie about the tragedy (I believe De Niro's exact words before having the creep escorted out were, "What, you think you can make money off of this? Up yours, buddy.").
    Now, though, ugh.

    "Shame CBS censored him."

    Curse those decency standards!

I seem to recall Moore (Or, as I like to call him, "The Blob") got rightfully booed off the stage for that disgusting rant.
