Just myself and the old deaf dog, we just finished our cheeseburgers, dog is now napping but much too early for me to nap. I have my nerve blocker meds again and the past three days my neck is feeling so much better. Tomorrow I go have new X Rays so I have something for the neurosurgeon when I finally get the appt. I think just taking the blocker has helped my lungs, I feel a bit better overall. Got an inhaler too but haven't felt the need to use it yet. There is nothing wrong with my lungs only the information channel from my brain is messed up in the upper spine. Everyone have a great 4th

The oldest daughter got a wild hare from “The Kitchen” cooking show so everybody jumped in and contributed to the “Sunny’s Supreme Steak”.

Chicken wings with carrot and celery sticks and blue cheese dressing for dipping. For drinks we have ginger ale. Later in the evening it'll be ice cream. Not sure of the flavor yet. I'll decide when I go get it.

    How about 74 hotdogs?

Joey "Jaws" Chestnut is this year's men's winner in the Nathan's Famouse hot dog eating contest. Chestnut extended his reign as champion eater at the annual hot dog eating contest Wednesday, downing a record 74 wieners and buns in 10 minutes to take home the coveted Mustard Belt for an 11th time.

Miki Sudo held onto her title as the top woman's competitor at the annual Brooklyn eat-off. Sudo devoured 37 franks and buns to take home the top prize for an unprecedented fifth consecutive year.

Must be. They slipped an extra plate on the table.

But while Chestnut ate 10 more dogs and buns than second-place finisher Carmen Cincotti, a judging error cast initial doubt over their totals after jurists didn't see the eaters were taking the dogs and buns from two plates.
