I just had a flight with a wounded veteran who sat next to me in First Class on his flight home to see his family for the first time in a year. Someone at the gate saw him and gave up his first class seat so the hero could fly home in style. Would've done it myself if the other gentlemen hadn't seen him first!
We can never repay these heroes.

What great homecomings. I wish that for all of our service members.
I just watched a piece on the local news for one of our returning vets. They gave him a police and fire escort home from the airport. He was stunned by the huge turnout and wished for this for everyone else that came home.
We were horrible during Vietnam. I am glad most Americans understand that and are making up for it with our current vets. God Bless them and their families, especially at this time of year.

This has actually been on youtube for a while. I honestly forgot how I came across this video on youtube. Nevertheless, glad I found this. And yes, I think this video should be rated H.T.R as in Have Tissues Ready. :)
