It's not how old you are, it's how you got here.
It's been a long road and not all of it was paved.
. If you ain't havin' fun, it's your own damn fault

Why Thank You........ I'm normal, and did what an American Patriot is supposed to do, just as my Father, My Grandfather my Uncles and Cousins all did from WWI to present. Somewhere the chain got broken in society and it had to be the politicians and not so patriotic parents whom are responsible for a country that no longer cares.

  3. #3 Back From Vietnam 50+ Years
I'm back from Vietnam for 50+ years, and I still have no idea what was going on. My dad was a seasoned jungle fighter, with OSS 101 - CBI; 3+ years in the Burma jungle, and he was dead against our involvement in Vietnam. Not because we were there, but because of the way it was handled. He told me, it could have been laid to rest in 4 or 5 months. He quoted Monty Python concerning the way the US handled Vietnam. He called it: "The 100 yard dash for people with no sense of direction".

I look at today's military & they remind me of Star Wars troopers. I have a photo of my Dad in Burma that I will try to scan & post. Shorts, boots, no shirt, a rag hat, and a Thompson slung over his shoulder. That was known as Full Battle Gear.
