Smithmyer is someone who I knew from USF. He's written about Republican ideology before and ran for office.

Anyone seen this yet? I came across it from googling old peers and I'm not surprised.

Not sure how I feel about what it can do to sway the Nation.

Wow. Christopher Smithmyer was the Repub who ran against Christopher Smith, the incumbent Democrat. I remember that. Bad political name-confusion luck.

The book sounds interesting. I stopped following the Dems when they orchestrated The Indian Removal Act in 1830, when Crockett split with Jackson. The 'reservation' idea is working today. It would've worked then.

" I'm seizing your land because you don't believe in private ownership. "

Plus Dems couldn't understand why Indians didn't 'need' African slaves. It was all downhill from there for the Party.

    Are you from Fl?

Are you confident that conservatism will continue growing?

    Family lives in Sebring.

'Growing' as far as voters voting that way, yeah.

Safe to say all life-forms on Earth are born conservative. Even the Universe. The concept of 'mine' develops considerably earlier than the concept of 'they'.

Smart. Just sometimes wonder if we are to "evolve" to they as a unit. I've heard that argument. What causes me to pause is while I believe in sharing when the resources abound, I have often become the sacrifice of others who seem to just want to remain there and have me work for them.

Not sure how to deal with that both psychologically and politically.
