Woot!
I did trojan work and got the two feet of snow cleared off the back deck and braved the barely plowed streets to get a fresh cylinder for the grill!
Tonight we dine like kings on seared seafood!!!
The sticky buns for tomorrow morning just came out of the oven. Christmas has officially begun!
Leftover ham!
Family emergency has us all running around like crazy people!
I don't think anyone feels like eating... let alone cooking this year!
But I refuse to lose The Christmas Spirit!
I keep telling everyone Merry Christmas and offering them egg nog, or whiskey or wine!!!
Merry Christmas!
Had a dinner today at work. Smoked turkey, ham, all kinds of other great stuff including homemade pie.
Rule #1 of re-gifting, remove the original gift tag. Employee brought in secret Santa gift for manager....it was a little odd, a stuffed little bear...but hey it's the thought that counts...until manager sees the tag on the ear.....It was TO: (person that regifted) From: (her boyfriend) :)
I will take my mother out to dinner tomorrow. But, part of the city is without water, I happen to be in that part...auto accident wiped out major hydrant and holes had to be dug in the middle of the highway...resturants are closed...but hopefully this will be resolved by AM....this all started this morning!
The Casinos brought in porta potties.....the gambling must go on!
