FRENCH police chiefs today called for a State of Emergency to be declared and for the Army to take to the streets following the worst rioting in Paris in 50 years.

The Arc de Triomphe was among hundreds of buildings attacked by anti-government ‘Yellow Vest’ fuel price protesters on Saturday — who said their actions were "the start of a revolution".

Graffiti was daubed on the famous landmark calling for President Emmanuel Macron's resignation ahead of his tour through the scenes of destruction.

Returning from the G20 summit today, Mr Macron thanked firefighters and condemned the carnage — vowing to bring those responsible to justice.

The French President was jeered by a group of yellow-vest supporters before he chaired a ministerial meeting as calls mounted for him to declare a state of emergency.

There were more than 400 arrests and up to a 130 serious injuries - including 23 police officers - during an orgy of violence across the city that lasted more than 12 hours

Don't let anyone, nor any outlet kid ya... The riots in Paris & Brussels are in-protest of the progressive carbon-taxes.

Not 'fuel-prices'...boom. With no mention of carbon-taxes as the driver.

Not 'anti-government'...thud. With no mention of carbon-taxes as the instigator.

Berlin may be about ready to erupt.

The EU has simply screwed-up bigtime with globalism and its schemes to eliminate fossil-fuels.

It is a punitive tax on fossil fuels instigated by the greenie agenda, not a road tax or even a general revenue tax...but, at the taxpayer end of the funnel, it still walks, swims, and quacks like a fuel tax. They were dumb enough to elect Socialists globalists in thee first place, it's hardly surprising they don't see the bigger picture.

    Common-sense conquered the elitist city-dwellers.

Carbon (fuel prices) tax is suspended
