Possibly the best burger you will ever fry up. 3 or 4 ounces of lean ground beef ( no more than 4 ounces ). About the size of a large meat ball. I use a cast iron frying pan. Spray a little oil in the pan & set at medium heat. Press the ball of beef as flat as possible in the pan. Immediately break it loose with a spatula & flip it. Take a handful of sliced onions & with the spatula, press them down into the meat. Keep the patty loose. Give it about 3 minutes & then flip it with the onions. Now cheese if you like. 3 more minutes. Done. I use a potato hamburger roll, salt, pepper , ketchup.
