    While GOT is getting all the attention, The Big Bang Theory also ended it's run this week. While I like the show and the characters, I'm not really disappointed. They ran out of steam a couple of years ago, IMHO. The finale was ok, nice little sentimental moments of growth bow on top of the package. One piece of great hilarity to me, but I won't spoil it for anyone who hasn't got to the DVR yet.

    Anyone else catch it?

    One small spoiler. I loved the fact that the elevator finally got fixed.
    Cast your burden on the Lord,
    and he will sustain you;
    he will never permit
    the righteous to be moved.

    I found it to be more silly than funny years ago but decided to watch the two hour blowout. I lasted five minutes and turned it off.
    It's not how old you are, it's how you got here.
    It's been a long road and not all of it was paved.

    I’m not much of a TV person. Almost zero. The handful of episodes I’ve seen were entertaining. I always wondered about the stairs and yellow tape. If there’s a particular story behind that, haven’t seen enough to pick up on it.

    The elevator was destroyed before the show actually started but during the series, Leonard told Penny about it. He was showing his new design for rocket fuel. They were going to use it to power a model rocket. He mixed it incorrectly and after arguing with Sheldon, Sheldon grabbed the pot and put it in the elevator and pressed the down button. It blew up in the elevator otherwise it would have killed them.

    Thanks, people know so little of actual history.

    Girls spoiled it, if it was supposed to be a show about science-nerds. Or the wrong kind of girls.

    I did. Sheldon's speech was a perfect ending for the show. There was also a tie in with the season finale of Young Sheldon where they showed the characters of BBT as children....

    I wonder, have you always been a nerd like way back in the 80's and got bullied/beat up for it or did you become a nerd after it became fashionable like those fake nerds who became a nerd when being a nerd became cool?
