Another thing that had me wondering. Whose bright idea was it to shelter the noncombatants in Winterfell's crypts....the place where you intern your dead ancestors....when your fighting an enemy led by a general who has demonstrated the ability to raise the dead to fight for him? And don't get me started about the Dothraki charge to their doom.

One of the producers dumps it all on the “little people”.

“I can’t believe [it]. Our onset prop people and decorators are so on it. 1,000 percent. I just honestly can’t… Nowadays you just can’t believe what you see, because people can put things into a photo that really doesn’t exist, but I guess, maybe it was there. I’m not sure. We’re sorry! Westeros was the first place to actually have Starbucks. It’s a known fact.”

Really, Cersei should make mincemeat out of Dany and Jon. They are terrible tacticians, even if they are brave about actual fighting. Jon's a fool to take on Cersei without having Sansa to consult with about tactics. She understands Cersei, better than Tyrion. But Sansa is probably smart enough to see that Dragon Queen is going mad and someone will probably take her out soon. Why be anywhere near that mess?

Pretty bloody fight for Kings Landing!!! WoW!!!

Now who is the "bad guy/gal" Queen???

I can't believe what happened to Cersei,
    something must still be coming.

But the fight between the Hound and
    The Mountain was epic!!!
May the FORCE be with you!

I see Dani has read the Dicta Boelcke, attacking the Iron Fleet out of the sun like that.

Lots of people died. Varys (I kind of saw that one coming, like I suspect Tyrion will meet a similar fate next week), Euron Greyjoy, the Hound, the Mountain, Qyburn, and the Lannister twins. RIP, especially Jamie, who I liked despite his awfulness.

Jon knows now how nuts Dany is. Arya does, too.

Sansa wasn't in last night's episode, but she is looking smarter and smarter for staying home and letting everyone else fight it out.

    I'm very disappointed in how
Cersei met her end assuming she
    isn't say, found still alive.

Was that the best the director and
    writers could do??? Have the
castle fall on her and Jamie?? Seems kind
    of lazy writing to me.

And if they wanted, they could bring
people back for spinoffs. Did the
Hound and The Mountain really die?
They are both pretty tough characters
and falling into a burning building
seems a tame way to go...

Same with the Iron Fleet guy, you
    never really see him die.

    Oh well, one more episode!!!

I'm glad that Arya didn't kill Cersei. The Hound was right to talk her into saving herself, and I'm pretty sure he's dead. Not so sure about his brother, who appears to be immune to stabbing and other conventional methods of killing. The dagger through the head was visually disturbing, but well-portrayed. I kind of wondered going in to the episode if Cersei would burn them all with wildfire before the dragon even got there. Lena Heady should win an Emmy for her portrayal of Cersei, though. Or as they call her on some sites-"Evil Wine Mama". She is a totally unsympathetic character for whom I have had sympathy at times, mainly because of how well she is portrayed.

So, is Arya going to kill someone with green eyes still, now that Cersei is dead? I'm pretty sure crazy dragon mama's next targets will be the happy divorcees Sansa and Tyrion, but I feel that Sansa is going to survive and end up on the Throne. I also think Arya will survive, mainly because GRRM's wife told him their marriage is over if Arya dies (and I don't think they have a prenup). Unless someone kills Dany first, though, Tyrion is dead meat.

I am looking forward to Sunday's finale, but I don't know what I'm going to watch once it's over.

There is the Deadwood reunion to look forward to at the end of the month, I guess. And an upcoming Catherine The Great miniseries. I was somewhat intrigued by the ad I saw for Watchman. I know nothing of the previous movie or comic books, but the ad featured my all-time favorite redneck tv cop wearing a cowboy hat and saying "Tick Tock, Tick Tock" in a crazy menacing manner, so I guess I'll watch it at least once because DJ is in it. I hope he gets a cool car, again.
