    Yellowstone volcano: How scientists ‘intensely monitor’ rising column of HOT MAGMA

    This may be a way to get rid of GITMO detainees.

    I've been following this for quite some time.

    If it blows full bore we are all fucked.

    And on a lighter note...

    There is a good chance that it won't erupt at full force. A small eruption that vents some pressure would quiet it down for a while.
    Cast your burden on the Lord,
    and he will sustain you;
    he will never permit
    the righteous to be moved.

    It's ironic that one of the most beautiful areas of our nation is harboring such destruction underneath. I went there as a teenager on a Young Life trip, on our way to CO, and was amazed.

    Norris Geyser Basin is the park’s hottest and home to the Steambost geyser which has moved into a new phase of more often and much stronger eruption that are followed by a ferocious, churning steam phase that can last two days.

    There were only very occasional eruptions until last March when Steamboat blasted off. It has erupted every week or two since. It set a record with 32 eruptions in 2018, besting its total of 29 set in 1964. It has continued that pace of eruptions in 2019 and last erupted Feb. 1.

    Ear Spring Geyser in the park’s Upper Geyser Basin also recently woke and Giant Geyser in the park has also been unusually active.

    Predictive of THE END?
    It's not how old you are, it's how you got here.
    It's been a long road and not all of it was paved.
