I've been telling you for years that the legal path to pedophila legalization has been greased by GLBT legal arguments. This article from The Federalist is not unduly alarmist: the signs are all there and legal arguments have, no doubt, been written for years. The LEFT just needs the right test case. Think Roe v Wade: the legal case was already written up; attorney Sarah Weddington just had to wait until a pregnant Norma McCorvey walked through the door. Right now, some HRC (Human Rights Campaign) lawyer is just waiting for the right "sympathetic pedophile" to walk through the door to be the face of an already written SCOTUS argument.

This has to be fought NOW. By the time the test case comes, it will be far too late. Please read the entire article at the link below.

The Pedophile Project: Your 7-Year-Old Is Next On The Sexual Revolution’s Hit Parade
    http://thefederalist.com/2019/02/21/...ns-hit-parade/
Activists for normalizing pedophilia are on the move. Public acceptance of adult sex with children is the next domino poised to fall in identity politics. It’s being sustained, among other things, by the rapid sexualization of children in the media and in K-12 education....

...As with any propaganda campaign that pushes outrageous changes on an unwary public, it’s all about timing...

First, the groundwork is laid through carefully planned propaganda. There are various types of messaging for various audiences: the medical establishment, the education establishment, legislators, judges, the general public, and so forth. Then the agitation begins with poster people who are “just like you.” And before you know it, it’s all over.....

...There are two main avenues to legalizing adult sexual relations with pre-pubescent children: 1) to designate it as a sexual orientation; and 2) to lower—or abolish—the age of consent for sexual activity. Both efforts are on track by pedophilia advocates, especially in academia and in the mass media. Take a look at this TED Talk released last year, in which the speaker chides us: “Let’s be mature about pedophilia.”

The speaker, Madeleine Van Der Bruggen, makes the case that pedophilia is simply a sexual orientation that can be neither chosen nor changed. She appeals us to “stop with the hate!” (sound familiar?). She argues that everybody probably knows someone with a pedophilic interest. And, really, they’re just like you. Most don’t talk about it because it’s illegal. Imagine, she asks, if you’re told you could never act on your passion? She implores us to imagine “how lonely” that must be....

The Availability Cascade (mentioned in the article above)

    Availability Cascades and Risk Regulation
    https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers....ract_id=138144

An availability cascade is a self-reinforcing process of collective belief formation by which an expressed perception triggers a chain reaction that gives the perception of increasing plausibility through its rising availability in public discourse. The driving mechanism involves a combination of informational and reputational motives: Individuals endorse the perception partly by learning from the apparent beliefs of others and partly by distorting their public responses in the interest of maintaining social acceptance. Availability entrepreneurs - activists who manipulate the content of public discourse - strive to trigger availability cascades likely to advance their agendas.

I think the social stigma regarding sexually abusing children is a lot stronger than the few voices that think pedophilia is a sexual orientation the way being gay or straight is a sexual orientation. I don't see this changing with the younger generations.

As long as most people call it sexual abuse instead of pedophilia, then the focus will remain in the right place, on protecting children from harm and not on the sick fantasies of those who would harm them.

This is from September of 2012. This has been put before you for well over 7 years...

    3. There is a slippery slope and we are on it. The line should have been drawn and not crossed in 1973 so we don't have to hear this bullshit that has been pointed out in the OP. Once we accepted one type of deviant behavior as "normal", the door is open for others to try and run through.
You have been spouting the same mantra of "orientation" despite the direct evidence to the contrary. I wondered then, as I still do, how it is you can't make rational, logical conclusions from the easily accessible history of this subject? It's not like anyone who has been following the track the pedophiles are taking are making things up from cherry picked sources - it's literally right in front of you.

That you, like our parents, don't believe society will accept it today doesn't mean the deviants are going to stop - they have no reason to do so! Their path has already been carved, all they need is enough sympathetic "doctors" and "judges" to make it so.

The social stigma against child abuse has been getting stronger over the last several decades. Roman Polanski is an example. Back in 1977 he drugged and sodomized a 13 year old girl who repeatedly told him to stop. He was allowed to plead to unlawful sex with a minor and spent 42 days in jail while undergoing an eval. He fled the country after learning the judge might put him in prison.

Over the years his apologists have claimed Polanski was the victim; they avoided discussing the fact that he drugged and raped a 13 year old girl. It wasn't until Weinstein was accused of raping various actresses who were "somebody" and not a "nobody" like Polanski's victim that the casting couch culture started getting an even slightly bad name in Hollywood.

Unfortunately, there is no longer a stigma for child sacrifice. Liberals just voted to keep the government from mandating that children of failed abortions are to be treated and if possible be kept alive. We've gone from first trimester abortions to now letting children be born and then letting them die or, as in the case in Virginia, letting them live while it is decided whether to murder them. When this debate is settled the next one might be about how long to let them live before you decide to murder them.

Think this is hyperbole? When gay marriage was deemed acceptable many poo-pooed the slippery slope argument but it has come to pass. The same arguments used for acceptance of gay marriage are being used, and sometimes successfully, for bestiality, incest, polygamy, pedophilia and pretty much every sexual fetish and taboo you can think of.
Cast your burden on the Lord,
    and he will sustain you;
    he will never permit
    the righteous to be moved.

All live children, even those who are born as the result of an attempted abortion are protected by the laws protecting anyone else.

There is an actual law allowing a person to kill a living child outside of the womb or a law that allows medical treatment to be withheld? I'd like to see the link to any such law.

Gay marriage never has to be acceptable to you. But in my opinion, the government has no business deciding who can marry who, provided laws are enforced that protect children from forced marriages.

What laws have been passed lately to allow pedophilia and polygamy? I for one want the government out of my life to the max extent possible.

    Yet
    Yes I do.
    That is sad

I am of the opinion that the world can do what the world will do. My faith informs me the homosexuality is wrong but hey, to each his own. As long as the Church isn't forced to participate or forced to accept something that God calls an abomination I have no problem. Unfortunately we are seeing pressure put on the people of faith and their institutions to not only tolerate homosexual expression but to accept it.

Incest is on it's way to becoming accepted in Europe and will eventually be sanctioned by law allowing marriage between siblings. As Europe so goes America.

Incest has always been accepted in parts of the world, among royalty in particular. The ancient Egyptian royals married their siblings, the royals of Europe from the middle ages to the Victorian era married cousins, and even Abraham married his half-sister Sarah. But those are not the majority of civilizations. Most have been pretty clear about denouncing incest.

I will say this-sibling incest among little kids (pre-school to around 10) is very wide-spread. It's usually due to a lack of proper supervision, prior victimization of one of the kids, or exposure of one of the kids to pornography. CPS generally doesn't remove kids in those cases, unless there is a big age difference in the siblings, there is injury to one of the kids, or some other major mitigating factor (like the parents knew what was happening and did nothing to stop it). Usually we put services in the house to help the family-most parents are mortified when they catch little kids sexually acting out, and are usually the ones who call those cases in, because they want the help.

Is there not a difference between little kids "experimenting" and full on sexual incest by teens or adults? I would make the case the these are psychologically (and not just physically) very different things.

Also, the issue was adults sexually abusing children: I fear that the language of "discrimination" will overwhelm the language of child protection.
