Despite a significantly low SAT score, Parkland student and gun control activist David Hogg shared that he was accepted to Harvard College.

Back in December in fact Axios reported, David Hogg, survivor of the Parkland high school shooting and a prominent gun control activist, announced on Twitter Saturday that he will be attending Harvard University to study political science in the fall.

Hogg’s admission to Harvard came as a shock to many at the time as the average SAT score noted by Harvard’s own admission statistics was a whopping 250 higher than what Hogg obtained on his SAT’s.

Adding more question to his Harvard admission, Hogg was rejected by several, what some would call lower level Universities when comparing those same institutions to Harvard.

TMZ noted, David has been rejected by the 4 University of California campuses where he submitted applications — UCLA, UCSD, UCSB and UC Irvine

A guy with two very different stories about exactly where he was when the Parkland shooting happened and never shed one tear over the loss of his classmates.

Could the term opportunist apply? It definitely raises questions on the admissions policies of some of the "prestige" schools.

His admission was a political statement. His SAT scores meant he should enroll in a JC, get some direction and credits (maybe even an AA degree) and then transfer into the UFlorida or FSU system. Or just get barista training at a local Starchucks.
