Normally I am not a Kathleen Parker fan but this column tickles my grits.

Be not dismayed, for a female president is coming soon, likely in 2024. She’ll be a woman of color, a real Indian (with parents from Punjab), a Christian, a Republican, a wife and mother with Southern manners, statewide governing experience and an international profile. Wouldn’t that beat all?

Haven't looked at the article but this could only be Nikki Haley. I fully expect her to run in 2024 along with Lindsey Graham, maybe even Ivanka and a dozen RINOs who won't get schneider. I'll probably vote for the one that has the best chance in the general (barring the dozen or so RINO dwarfs). I'm feeling optimistic today that I'll be around in 2024 to vote.

I think Nikki could do well, but I also think she hurt her self by stepping down as the UN Amb. It was a great way for people to see what kind of leader she really is. But now voters are forgetting her.

Right now, I would hedge my bet on Pence.

Personally, in a Pence-Haley primary, my vote would go to the lady.

Yes, I will remember that in five years if, as od said, I’m here to cast a ballot.

Anyone here will enjoy the article. KP takes all of the D ladies apart in pieces and points out clearly why they ain’t gonna make it.

What alien life form kidnapped and replaced Kathleen Parker?! Or did faux-conservative Jennifer Rubin entirely take over that gig?

I think we can agree that Alabama Governor Kay Ivey, has zoomed to the top of the list to be the first female President; hands down.

    She's got what it takes.

She would be 83. And I doubt she could win the nation. A red state yes, but I doubt the nation.

But doesn't remove her from the qualifications list though. We want backbone. If we have to go the Golda Meir route, we'll go the Golda Meir route. Distant second would be Candace Owens.

The last thing we need is a female John Kasich.

Candace doesn't have the foreign police experience. She'll continue doing her thing with the TPUSA and likely get a gig on FOX.

I really like Haley, but lets be honest, she now has a very well paying job on the board of Boeing likely making more money then being President. And she'll be there out of the spotlight for the next 6 years. Voters will have forgotten who she is.

Kay Ivey, she's likely to retire before the 2024 elections.

Now don't get me wrong. There are some potential rising stars.

Joni Ernst, has potential if she can strengthen her self more.

Mary Fallin, needs some more face-time. She was on Trumps short list for VP.

Kristi Noem, Gov of S. Dakota,

Mary Taylor, Lt of Ohio, and very ambitious. Intends to run as Gov, next cycle.
